Formula E & DHL produce a spectacular carbon-absorbing mural in Mexico City
The mural has been painted using photocatalytic paint (carbon-eating) that purifies pollution and bad odours from the air, plus eliminates substances that are harmful to our health through a natural process.
Here is how the DHL x FE Together Green mural will make a positive impact on Mexico City:
- It will absorb 168kg of CO2 emissions per year
- It will offset the carbon equivalent to 27.7 cars in 6 months
- The paint will sanitize the air, in such a way that it eliminates toxic or harmful substances
The project is inspired by a shared commitment between DHL and Formula E, to generate actions that positively impact the planet and contribute to building a better world.
The artist is Hector Alonso Ruiz Silve, artistically known as Reezruiz.
