Right From the Start – DHL is a Founding Partner of Formula E
Less than 100 day to go until the new FIA Formula E Championship revs its electric engines in Beijing on September 13 – a perfect moment to take stock. DHL is not only the Official Logistics Partner of the new FIA Formula E Championship, it is also a Founding Partner. Why? Because we are committed to the same future as Formula E.
What does it mean to be a Founding Partner of the FIA Formula E Championship? It means getting involved right from the start and being an integral part of building this all-new race series. Why did we choose to do so? As a pioneer in green logistics and a company excited about an electric future, we want to help build this ground-breaking new motorsport from the ground up.
We see the FIA Formula E Championship as much more than just another motorsport series. It is a global platform for showcasing sustainability and e-mobility.
Our role as Official Logistics Partner is fairly straightforward if not challenging right from the get-go. We will deliver Formula E to the 10 race cities around the world on time and as environmentally friendly as possible. And with over 30 years in motorsports logistics and a proven portfolio of sustainable solutions, we feel we are the right company for the job.
As Founding Partner, our commitment goes beyond logistics. We believe in what Formula E stands for and want to join the FIA in promoting sustainability and the future of mobility, one of the world’s most pressing challenges. That’s why we share not only our logistics solutions with Formula E, but also our experience and insights in protecting the environment. After all, our go Green environmental protection program transcends transportation and includes, for example, innovative technologies to increase the efficiency of our offices and facilities.
