F1® THE MOVIE WORLD PREMIERE DELIVERED BY DHL

DHL delivered a first within Formula 1®, transporting the iconic starting grid to Times Square for the World Premiere of F1 The Movie, starring Brad Pitt, on June 16. The incredible logistics feat included transporting 13 Formula 1 cars from 11 cities worldwide, travelling a total of 46,768 km to arrive to the Big Apple.

As Formula 1’s Official Logistics Partner for over 20 years, DHL used multimodal logistics to bring this unprecedented display to life, transforming Manhattan into a celebration of speed and cinema. Among the showstoppers: the APXGP car, driven by Brad Pitt’s character Sonny Hayes, which made a dramatic debut from a giant DHL box onto the red (or rather, silver) carpet.

Fans gathered for hours in the heart of New York, celebrating one of the most talked-about premieres of the year. On the red carpet, DHL ambassador Naomi Schiff caught up with F1 drivers and film stars to offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes look – check out the videos below!
