We bet he won't be washing that jersey any time soon - if ever!

The frigid temperatures in Chicago and New York did not stop hundreds of fans from lining up to meet United Legend Bryan Robson and see the Barclays Premier League trophy.

As in California, fans came out in droves in both the Windy City and the Big Apple. The only difference was the icy cold temperatures that have engulfed the American Midwest and Northeast for weeks. But a little snow and cold didn’t deter United’s determined fan base. Watch the US-leg highlight reel here!

It certainly didn’t stop Bhoumesh Patel, who traveled 800 miles from New Jersey to attend the event at Chicago’s Water Tower Place on February 11, which featured the mini museum of Reds memorabilia, delivered by DHL. “This the greatest day of my life,” he said.

Bryan Robson also braved the cold, posing for photos with the trophy and supporters at the city’s famous River Bridge. The stop was capped off with a meet and greet event at Soccer House, headquarters of US football.

Cold walk in the park
On February 14, the former Reds skipper made a live TV appearance in New York City, the fourth and final stop of the US leg of the club’s worldwide Trophy Tour, delivered to the world by DHL. Robson was interviewed by Sports Illustrated. He highlighted the Reds’ considerable appeal in the States, which is the destination for this summer’s pre-season tour. The silverware also took a walk to the city’s famous Central Park, where Robson trudged through deep snow with some hard-core, winter-loving fans.

Many tales and huge turnout
Nearly 1,000 fans came out to see Robson and the trophy at New York’s Time Warner Center. They brought with them many tales of how they came to love the Reds. Stewart Bouwman first saw United play in 1985 in a 3-0 defeat in Leicester, having arrived there a mistake after taking the wrong train, and has followed the team ever since. Bill Gordon brought a flag from last season’s 20th title win, which a friend sent to him, while Ari Rabban recounted the time in 1985 he traveled on the team bus with Ron Atkinson’s Reds in Israel. And Trevor Stuart, who was born in London but now lives in New York, took the chance to get a United pocket book signed by Robbo. The only autograph he’s now missing from the books “Hall Of Fame” is Denis Law’s; the likes of Sir Bobby Charlton, George Best, Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane and Eric Cantona at all previously signed.
