Formula 1 teams and drivers are heading to Abu Dhabi for the highly anticipated final race of the 2024 season. As the grand finale, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix not only marks the culmination of the championship but also wraps up the demanding final triple-header of the year, following races in Las Vegas and Qatar. The logistical challenge for teams has been enormous, with equipment traveling thousands of miles across continents in a tightly packed schedule. This triple-header is one of three this season, highlighting the sport’s unparalleled global reach and demanding calendar.
The 2024 Formula 1 season has been a record-breaking year, with 24 races making it the busiest season in the sport’s history. From thrilling night races under the lights to iconic circuits steeped in tradition, this season has pushed teams, drivers, and logistics crews to their limits. Fans have been treated to unforgettable moments at tracks from Monza to Miami, Suzuka to Silverstone, and beyond, with high-stakes battles taking place across five continents.
Looking ahead, 2025 will bring another 24-race schedule, but with an exciting change: the season opener will return to Australia. After several years, Formula 1 will once again kick off at the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne, a fan-favorite venue known for its picturesque setting and electrifying atmosphere.
