100 lucky fans got to put on a brand-new Manchester United 2018/19 home shirt the same day the new kit was released. We got to share their favorite MUFC moment with the world.

When it comes to international, time-definite deliveries, it’s pretty safe to say that we know what we’re doing. Why not utilize that expertise to mark a memorable moment and deliver some smiles to United fans around the world?

We asked ourselves that same question. So, to celebrate the release of Manchester United’s 2018/19 home kit on July 17, we invited fans around the world to share their favorite #MUFC moment for a chance to win one of 100 2018/19 home jerseys – delivered by DHL.

The call went out on social media in June with a message from Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford, and Daley Blind: Share your favorite Manchester United moment and win!

Nearly 5,000 fans from over 135 countries posted photos and shared their stories – an outpouring of MUFC love from around the world. 

Ibad Ahmed, a winner from Pakistan, wrote that his favorite moment was “when I met Denis Irwin in Singapore!! My fav united player as I myself play as a full back!!”

Winner – Maite Hall

Maite Hall, a winner from the United States, wrote: “Our first time watching the Red Devils during their 2015 USA tour. My husband worked 3 jobs to be able to save enough money for us to go see them in Chicago. It was a very special moment for me because I got to see his hard work pay-off, and being able to experience his excitement of watching his FAVORITE football team while living this special moment with his 4 year old daughter was priceless.”

Nicola Towle, a winner from the UK, wrote that her favorite moment was “taking my son to his first Manchester United match, his face lit up when he saw the stadium and didn’t stop smiling and singing the whole time.”

In late June, we notified the 100 lucky winners and told them to watch for special DHL delivery coming in July. A few days later, we posted a gif of some of the lucky entries.

On July 17 – the day Manchester United, Adidas, and Juan Mata revealed the club’s new home kit to the world – the photos started pouring in. Across the globe, the winners posted pictures of themselves in their new United jerseys.
