DHL Exported SS15 – Francesca Liberatore at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week
One of four winners of the inaugural DHL Exported Program, Milan-based fashion designer Francesca Liberatore made her debut at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York in September.
Liberatore's eponymous label showed the Spring/Summer 2015 collection in the Salon to rave reviews. It was a fabulous stateside start for the Rome-born graduate of Central Saint Martins.
"There is a great link between Milanese product and what a capital such as New York offers in terms of marketing and commercial (opportunities)," said Liberatore, whose designs and business acumen caught the eye of the DHL Exported Committee of Experts. "Considering the stage I'm at now, this was the right step to take."
