DHL Exported at London Fashion Week
After making its public debut ahead of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York last week, the DHL Exported program run by DHL and IMG Fashion has now launched in London as well.
The unprecedented program will support designers who are already established in their local market and are gaining momentum internationally to further their global footprint via the world’s most powerful fashion week platforms. Winners, who will be announced at the beginning of May, will then be able to select an overseas Fashion Week of their choice to showcase their designs, where they will be guaranteed a schedule spot and a funded and produced runway show at either Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, Milan Fashion Week or Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo.
As well as showing their designs at the Fashion Week of their choice, DHL will sponsor the winner for two consecutive seasons, underwrite all logistic costs of producing the collection (i.e. international shipping and exporting of hard goods) as well as exporting the winning collection to New York, London, Milan or Tokyo for the designers’ runway debut.
