How does the ranking work?
The ranking is based on the difference between the number of medals predicted and the actual number of medals won by the German team. The smaller the deviation, the better the ranking. Example: With a prediction of 7 medals and an actual number of 9 medals, the participant receives 2 difference points.
Frequently asked questions
General
Men's four-man bobsleigh, men's two-man bobsleigh, women's two-man bobsleigh and women's monobob.
The German team can win a maximum of 12 medals per World Cup weekend.
Predictions for the upcoming World Cup weekend can be submitted from the Monday morning after the previous weekend. Predictions can be submitted until Saturday 9:00 (CET).
There are prizes for the three best predictors at each World Cup weekend. At the end of the season, the three participants at the top of the leaderboard will also receive a prize.
No, once submitted, the predictions are final and can no longer be changed.
The winners of the World Cup prizes will be notified in the week following the respective World Cup weekend. The overall winners of the season will receive their notification after the last World Cup weekend in Lillehammer.
Raffle season
The ranking is based on the difference between the number of medals predicted and the actual number of medals won by the German team. The smaller the deviation, the better the ranking. Example: With a prediction of 7 medals and an actual number of 9 medals, the participant receives 2 difference points.
The overall winner of the season is the competitor who tops the leaderboard at the end of the season, based on how closely their picks match the actual medal tally for the entire World Cup season.
In the event of a tie, the number of correct medals per World Cup weekend will decide the winner. If the tie persists, the winner will be determined at random.
The list is updated on the Monday after each World Cup weekend.
Missed picks are automatically subject to a penalty difference of 5 points. Example: If Germany wins 8 medals on a weekend and no bet was placed, a difference of 5 will be added to the value of 13 medals.
World Cup weekend competition
Three winners will be selected at random from all participants who have predicted the correct number of medals. If no one has guessed the exact number, the participants whose prediction is closest to the actual number of medals will win.
