United and DHL Launch ‘United Trophy Tour’
DHL to transport the Barclays Premier League trophy to fans across the globe – over 30 destinations beginning at the end of October.
To celebrate the Club’s historic 20th league title, Manchester United has teamed up with its Official Logistics Partner, DHL, to launch the “United Trophy Tour, delivered to the world by DHL.” Tapping our global network and logistics expertise, we’ll be transporting the Premier League trophy to destinations across four continents, travelling a total of over 110,000 kilometers over the coming months.
United in Success
In 2012, DHL successfully partnered with Manchester United for the “DHL Champ19ns Trophy Tour”, which took the Barclays Premier League trophy and Club Legends around the world to celebrate Manchester United’s record-breaking 19th Premier League title. The Tour visited 27 destinations, including India, Turkey, Korea, Africa and Norway, covering a distance of some 77,000 kilometers.
The 2013/14 “United Trophy Tour, delivered to the world by DHL” is aimed at building on the success of that first tour, as well as the record-extending 20th championship victory for the Club. It will bring the Premier League Trophy, a United Legend and, for many locations, a third new element – a museum showcasing artifacts from the Club’s history.

A unique opportunity for DHL fans, customers and employees
After a send-off event in Manchester later this month, the Tour kicks off in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on October 30. The five-month tour will then see the Premier League trophy appear exciting cities like Dubai, Mumbai, Jakarta, Shanghai, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok, Moscow and Istanbul. Fans across the globe will have the opportunity to joint the Club in its 20th league title celebrations.
