World rugby fans scrum and win
After eight weeks of competition, the DHL Scrum Challenge is letting loose the creative juices of rugby fans around the world. Adam Jones, Rugby World Cup 2015 DHL Ambassador, shares his top five favorite scrum photos so far – though he’s the first to admit it wasn’t easy.
Step aside selfie – here comes the scrum! Striking a pose and sharing it with your friends has never been more fun and worthwhile! We’re talking about the DHL Scrum Challenge – and fans around the world are going out of their way to crouch, bind and set in some pretty creative ways.
What’s the DHL Scrum Challenge?
The competition is as easy as they come and goes like this: Simply take of picture of yourself scrummaging anywhere – look at the photos above, literally anywhere! – add the hashtag #ScrumShareWin and and share it with @DHLRugby on Twitter. A winner is chosen randomly each week. Prizes include RWC 2015 tickets and a chance to scrum with Adam Jones himself!
Adam Jones, DHL’s RWC 2015 Ambassador, made the call to Scrum, Share and Win at the beginning of July.
“I’ve been described in the past as a scrum expert,” he said in a video message to the rugby world. “Either way, I love the scrum. This Ruby World Cup, I want you to join me in celebrating the heartbeat of the game.”
From bride & groom to guy & bus
And for the past eight weeks now, rugby fanatics from across the globe have been enthusiastically answering the call. You’ll find hundreds of photos on Twitter using the hashtag #ScrumShareWin. Everything from a bride & groom to a man & a bus – it’s all there, check it out!
So far we’ve had eight randomly chosen winners – and there are ten more weeks to go as we #ScrumShareWin are way to and through this year’s biggest sporting event!
Adam’s top five
Adam Jones is blown away by the response. “I can’t believe it,” he said.

Adam: “I think in terms of effort, being underwater this one has got to be up there. They’ve even got the ball in!”
@elenawallis0789 and her crew certainly took Adam seriously when he said “anywhere”. She tweeted: “Rugby can be played anywhere and we like a challenge :P ?@DHLRugby ?#scrumsharewin ?@allwhitesladies ?#paddleboarding“????

Apparently this group was going for a world record. @shandy1963 tweeted “@DHLRugby world record scrum at my club, I'm in there somewhere!! #ScrumShareWin”
