Manchester United: all eyes on FA Final

Coming off a 3-1 win over Bournemouth in the final Premier League season match, Manchester United are fully focused on bringing the FA Cup back to their unconditionally loyal fans.

The Boys from Old Trafford have not travelled to Wembley to compete for the FA Cup since 2004, and both the team and fans are eager for some silverware to leave a positive mark on an admittedly up and down season.

The prospect of victory means a lot to fans. See what match-going fans had to say outside Old Trafford and read the favorite FA Cup Final memories others have shared.

A title for the fans is fantastic and we want to give it to them

Louis van Gaal, Manchester United Manager

After a dramatic win against Everton in the semi-final match and a 3-1 win over Bournemouth in the final Premier League season match, Manchester United are now fully focused on bringing a title home.

Reds manager Louis van Gaal says every effort Manchester United make to win tomorrow’s FA Cup final will be for the club’s loyal supporters. “A title for the fans is fantastic and we want to give it to them,” he says. And he’s told the fans as much. Addressing the Old Trafford crowd after the final league match, he said: “I want to say something on behalf of my players, of my staff and of myself. I want to thank you for your unconditional support. Wherever we have played, however things have gone on the field, you have never let us down. Thank you for that and we want to bring the FA Cup home to you. You deserve it. Thank you!”

As partners and fans ourselves, we’ve watched this undying support from the sidelines day in and day out. We do our best behind the scenes to match that enthusiasm – and we’re absolutely thrilled to be a part of United’s opportunity to take the FA Cup home.

Good luck United! Let’s go get some silverware!
