As the Official Logistics Partner of Formula 1®, DHL will deliver a total of 24 races in 2025. Carrying everything from the media centre to the safety cars, the DHL team will navigate three triple headers and five double headers in a revised regionalised F1® race calendar.
The Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco is the biggest logistical challenge over the F1 season for the DHL Motorsports team. Manoeuvring freight directly from the race in Imola to the second smallest country in the world is no mean feat. With tight, windy roads and a race that takes over the entire principality, it takes an expert logistics team to ensure the race behind the race is delivered precisely and on-time. Join us at the 2024 United States Grand Prix with DHL ambassador, Naomi Schiff, as the DHL team packed up the FIA Formula 1® safety car to be transported to its next destination, Mexico City.

In celebration of our 20th Anniversary as the Official Logistics Partner of F1®, take a look at DHL’s most exhilarating moments, spanning multiple continents and through major world events, over the last 21 F1® seasons.
In 2022, we made the move to Boing 777 planes in our F1® operations, whose fuel-efficient technology reduces carbon emissions by 17% over legacy aircraft. To mark the occasion, we launched a co-branded DHL X F1® plane, which is delivering F1® freight across the season.

As leaders in sustainable logistics, together with F1, we will continue to strive towards a more sustainable future and further bring to life the sport’s Net Zero Carbon by 2030 commitment.
We are proud to be entering a new era of low carbon, ultra efficient race logistics. In 2024, Formula 1 made significant investments in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) as part of its ultra-efficient logistics strategy. DHL’s GoGreen Plus service was a key driver in helping Formula 1 reduce total related emissions by more than 8,000 tCO2e (tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent). SAF is produced from a huge range of renewable sources, and reduces Carbon Emissions by an estimated 80% compared to conventional aviation fuels - allowing DHL to support Formula 1 to accelerate toward their Net Zero Carbon by 2030 commitment.
To celebrate the expansion of our biofuel-powered truck fleet, which doubled in size to 37 in 2024, we put the key measurements into Formula 1 terms! Our fleet reduces carbon emissions by an average of 83% compared to fuel-driven trucks, whilst transporting F1 across Europe and driving forward the race to achieving the Formula 1 Net Zero Carbon by 2030 commitment.
Join our DHL Ambassador Billy Monger, to explore how the surplus oil and waste products from your favourite takeaway meals can be transformed into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). We’re proud to lead the way by fuelling approximately 20% of Formula 1® cargo flights with Sustainable Aviation Fuel, reducing Greenhouse Gas emissions by approximately 80% per flight, compared to conventional aviation fuel!
