DHL has been shining the spotlight on the fastest lap since 2007 because it’s a perfect reflection of our company values: speed, reliability teamwork.
"The Fastest Lap is spectacular - it's tunnel vision, on the limit, everything is perfect, and it's a great feeling," says Mercedes AMG Petronas driver Nico Rosberg.
“Well, you know, it’s not as if you get any points for it, so in one way it’s actually a bit of a game,” says three-time DHL Fastest Lap Award Winner Sebastian Vettel. “But at the end of the race I simply enjoy doing a faster lap.”
On any given Sunday and at any of this year’s 19 Formula 1 circuits, any driver can set the fastest lap in a race. “And that is the exciting thing about the DHL Fastest Lap Award for me,” says DHL’s F1 Expert and former F1 driver Christian Danner.

“Before it’s time to go home it’s simply nice to do a fast lap and at the end of the year there is a lovely trophy for it,” says Vettel.
