Exported, Cycle 2 Announcement at NYFW: The Shows

There's excitement in the air at NYFW: The Shows this week – the perfect place then for DHL and IMG to announce the Cycle Two winners of the DHL Exported Program.

After weeks of deliberation, the committee of experts, including members of the four Fashion Week organizations, designer Nicole Miller and experts from IMG and DHL, have finally reached their decision on which four designer labels will receive a year's worth of support to make their debut in a new, international market. The announcement will come at a special event in New York on September 15, 2015 and can be followed around the world via the DHL Exported social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest,Twitter, and You Tube.

The winning designers will have the opportunity to expand their businesses globally by showcasing their Fall/Winter 2016 and Spring/Summer 2017 collections at a selected Fashion Week outside of their local market: New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week or Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo. Henry Holland, designer at House of Holland and DHL Exported alumni from Cycle One said that the Program was essential assistance as he broke into the Japanese market last year with his colorful women's streetwear, as you can see in the video above.

Francesca Liberatore, another DHL Exported alumni, just showed her collection for the third time at New York Fashion Week, a sign that the successes gained in the tough American market have stuck even after the DHL Exported Program Cycle One came to an end.

The Cycle Two DHL Exported shows will take place in September 2016/February 2017 at New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week, as well as in October 2016/March 2017 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo. We can't wait to see whose collections will be out on the runway with DHL's support!
