In "Trusting the Team," Episode 3 of the Great is in the Detail video series, DHL catches up with Jimmy Ibarra and Ronald Solis, the two men who perform the Wheel of Death in KOOZA by Cirque du Soleil®.
Drawn to the unique act after seeing a circus in Colombia over 13 years ago, Solis began training for this performance - one that gets better and more advanced with age. Ibarra, one of the best performers in the world, is driven by the live audience who comes out every night to see them perform.
In the short film, the two men describe the necessity of trusting the person you're working with to ensure you don't miss a beat while performing daring acrobats on a moving wheel. It’s a unique experience to see, and their performance a reminder of how it’s the little details that create the perfect balance.
