Qatar Grand Prix

Welcome to the F1® Logistics Hub

Did you know?

Race behind the race

Qatar marks the second stop in Formula 1’s season-ending triple-header, taking place at the Lusail International Circuit. The modern, floodlit venue, located north of Doha, first joined the F1 calendar in 2021 and has been a regular feature since 2023. Known for its smooth surface, sweeping high-speed corners, and a one-kilometer main straight, Lusail pushes both drivers and machinery to the limit under the desert night sky.

The race distance covers 57 laps of the 5.419 km circuit, totaling just over 308 km. It’s also one of six Sprint weekends on the 2025 calendar, adding extra pressure with a 100 km race on Saturday before the Grand Prix on Sunday evening. The circuit’s layout demands aerodynamic efficiency and tire preservation — Pirelli is expected to enforce stint length limits again after heavy wear in past years.

Coming straight from Las Vegas, teams face one of the toughest logistics operations of the season. Cars and essential components are flown directly from Nevada to Doha, while heavier freight such as garage structures and hospitality units are shipped by sea. The turnaround is rapid, with only a few days between events before teams head to Abu Dhabi for the season finale.
