Austrian Grand Prix
Welcome to the F1® Logistics Hub
Race behind the race
Nestled in the stunning Alpine landscape of Spielberg, the Red Bull Ring will host the eighth round of the 2026 Formula 1 season. After the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, the Austrian Grand Prix is the next stop in the European summer run. It brings the championship to one of the shortest, fastest, and most scenic circuits on the calendar.
Although the Red Bull Ring is compact, its combination of steep climbs, long straights, and heavy braking zones makes it a challenging course for teams and drivers. The first half of the lap rewards straight-line speed and power, while the second sector requires precision through flowing corners and constant elevation changes.
From a logistics perspective, the Austrian Grand Prix is part of a tightly packed European phase. After Spielberg, teams will head directly to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix just one week later. This means the paddock must be dismantled quickly. DHL’s biofuel-powered truck fleet will then transport the cars, equipment, and infrastructure across Europe, in line with Formula 1’s goal of reaching net zero by 2030.
