DHL extends partnership with WTCC

DHL will continue as a partner to the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) during the coming year. The world’s leading logistics service provider has extended its collaboration with the racing series for the 2017 season. In addition, DHL will be the title sponsor of the night race at the Losail International Circuit in Doha at the end of this month.

The teams travel to the Arabian Gulf  for the WTCC DHL Race of Qatar which takes place on the weekend of 24th - 25th November 2016. DHL is the logistics partner to the series. Since 2010, the company has been transporting freight from the teams’ headquarters to race venues in Africa, Asia and South America by sea, air and land. With the renewal of the contract, these arrangements will continue into 2017. DHL has a high profile at all race events in the form of advertising banners and hospitality initiatives.

The race is not just on the track but in making sure all the cars and equipment arrive at each venue on time.
