Victory in Long Beach: Our response to Mexico
Today was a perfect day! Celebrating on the podium with my team-mate Daniel was a unique experience – things could hardly have gone better for our team. After my disqualification in Mexico, it was important to stay focused. And that’s precisely what I did, with victory at Long Beach as the reward. Now I’m looking forward to Paris where I’m hoping I can count on the support of my fans once again.

Fully focused and full of anticipation
Things finally got under way today in Long Beach! I like it a lot here in California – the circuit on which we are now lining up in the latest generation of racing cars has a great tradition. As is the case every Friday, the shakedown was the only thing on today's program at the track. I'll be going on the attack in qualifying after the morning's two practice sessions in order to secure a good grid position for the race.

You can support me directly
A unique feature of Formula E is the way that fans are allowed to get involved. You can give extra power in the race by means of the FanBoost button. Voting is open until the race goes into its sixth minute, which is why the FanBoost can only be used in the second car, i.e. after the pit stop. A post on Instagram or Twitter with the hash tags #FanBoost and #LucasdiGrassi is all that is required and is automatically counted as a vote for me. But you can also vote for me on the website at fanboost.fiaformulae.com. Thanks for your support!
Support Lucas in the race for #Fanboost!

Fond memories
We’re expecting a challenging race at Long Beach. The long straights are not easy for us, but we can regain time on the corners. I think we are in good shape for the race. My team-mate Daniel claimed pole position here last year and I finished on the podium. This shows that we are fast at Long Beach. I’m totally focused on what lies ahead: six races, more than 150 points – there is a lot at stake and our ambition is undiminished!

Battling for the win
Long Beach is one of my favorite venues on the calendar. The atmosphere generated by the beachside location of the track is impressive. The fans can look forward to an exciting race. My objective is clear: I’m aiming for at least a place on the podium and if possible outright victory. We’ve managed one or the other in every race so far this season. The disqualification after taking the win in Mexico was obviously a setback in my pursuit of the title. But we lose and we win together as a team.
