Race behind the race
After opening rounds in Australia, China, and Japan, Formula 1 now travels to the Middle East for the fourth race of the 2025 season: the Bahrain Grand Prix. Taking place from April 11–13 at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, the event marks the championship’s return to one of its most popular modern venues.
As the Official Logistics Partner of Formula 1, DHL has transported up to 1,400 tons of freight—including the race cars, technical equipment, and team infrastructure—from Suzuka to Bahrain. The tight turnaround between races in Asia and the Middle East makes logistics a critical part of the sport’s success, especially during the first triple-header of the season which will concude in Saudi Arabia.
The Bahrain International Circuit is known for its mix of long straights, heavy braking zones, and challenging corners that test both car performance and tire management. Adding to the complexity are the desert conditions, with wind and fine sand often affecting grip and visibility.
