Christian Danner‘s Fastest Lap Tip for the Barcelona GP
Who will race the Fastest Lap at FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA PIRELLI 2014? Christian Danner makes his pick.
Watch the video above and find out who Christian Danner thinks will set the Fastest Lap at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya this weekend.
Here’s a hint: DHL's F1® Expert and former F1 driver says “the set-up [in Barcelona] is going to be classic downforce.” Can anyone say speed? What exactly does that mean for the DHL Fastest Lap – or the checkered flag for that matter? Watch the video and find out.
You’ll also learn about the tricky twiddly bit at the end of the lap, which Danner says “has always been a bit of a challenge because there are high curbs and it’s a first or second gear corner. However, the next one is the one that matters. It’s a long right hander onto a long straightaway, and here what counts is simply who can put their foot down early.”
If the first four races are any indication, then fans will be treated to a silver-arrow Sunday special on that straightaway. Or will the chasers manage to pack some extra punch in their power units before then? We’ll all just have to wait and see who will pilot the perfect lap and walk away with the DHL Fastest Lap!
