DHL and the Logistics of WTCC
Now that the 2014 World Touring Car Championship has shifted into high gear, Official Logistics Partner DHL is running at top speed to win the logistics race and make sure fans won’t miss the exciting, bumper-to-bumper race action on the track. Here’s a look at what we like to call the “race behind the race.”

The 2014 World Touring Car Championship is underway and DHL - the Official Logistics Partner of the WTCC - is already in overdrive. We manage the WTCC's entire logistics and we're proud of it! Watch the video above to get an idea of just what WTCC logistics is all about.
“In total we usually have like 200,000 kg of cargo, which is like 30 to 35 ocean freight containers,” says Holger Krätzig, DHL Motorsports Expert for WTCC. “We transport the whole cargo of WTCC by ocean freight. That is the most cost effective for all the teams, for the organizer.”
"It’s really tricky because several times we are at the limit in terms of timing," says Maurizio Bartolomei, Events Manager WTCC. “DHL is a well-known brand everywhere all over the world, so offices everywhere, knowledge, professional people, so this means that in every country we can rely on someone on the territory able to help every step of the way. This is really important.”
