MOTOGP & DHL OFFER THE RIDE OF A LIFETIME
All motorcyclists dream of riding the best stretches of road the world has to offer – probably as much as they dream about their ride – their bike, their baby. From scenic coastal byways and mountain switchbacks to asphalt stretching out as far as the eye can see, the open road is the place most motorcyclists want to be.
But what are the best rides in the world? Better yet: where is the World’s Best Road? Whether you’ve ridden it before or only yearn for the opportunity, we know that you have a favorite road that you’re passionate about. And we want to know where your passion takes you.
The ride of a lifetime
That’s why we’re teaming up with Dorna Sports, the organizers of MotoGPTM, to find the World’s Best Road. And for the chance to win the ride of a lifetime, you’re going to help us find it.
That’s right. We’re providing the platform, you provide the road. Over several months and separated into three terrain categories – coastal roads, mountain roads, and plains/deserts – we’ll ask you to submit an entry for a chance to win the grand prize: to ride the World’s Best Road on your motorbike alongside nine-time Formula One Grand Prix winner and bike enthusiast Mark Webber, delivered by DHL!
There’s nothing better than the freedom of riding on an open road on a sunny day.

The contest
The contest works like this: After you submit your entries, a panel of judges will choose the three best roads in each category. Then you will get to vote for the best road out of the three, resulting in one “Best Road” for each category. The panel will select one of these three roads as the “World’s Best Road” based on a number of criteria, such as scenery, road characteristics, and others. DHL will deliver the winner along with their bike to ride the World’s Best Road with Mark and shoot footage of the entire experience, including the trip the winning bike takes to get there.

The Ambassador
Anyone who has followed Mark Webber’s extraordinary career knows that he’s not only a four-wheel enthusiast. In fact, he grew up on bikes and loves the sport. “My dad had a Yamaha dealership for 20 years in Australia,” he says. “Mick Doohan, Wayne Gardner, Kevin Schwantz and Wayne Rainey were my heroes. There’s nothing better than the freedom of riding on an open road on a sunny day.”
Mark will be with us throughout the contest, sharing his thoughts on the best roads in the world. And he’s just as excited as you are to ride the World’s Best Road with the winner.
