Double podium & two reasons to be pleased
An exciting day has just ended for me: Daniel and I finished on the podium today – he placed second, I finished third – what an amazing success for our team! We can now all be even prouder of ourselves. Even though I didn’t emerge as the winner today, I’m very pleased with our team’s success and am especially happy for Daniel, obviously. He drove an incredible race in his home fixture. We’ll celebrate our success in style tonight and then step hard on the throttle to ensure that we clinch the championship at the finale in London in a few weeks’ time.

First day at track & some great news
Today was an eventful first day in Berlin. We explored the new circuit in the capital as we walked the track after the press conference. The location is great – including a view of the TV tower! I also really like the circuit. We saw our racing cars out on track for the first time during shakedown in the evening. The best thing I heard on Friday, though, was the announcement that I’ll be racing again with Abt next season, along with my teammate and friend Daniel. But I’m now looking forward to our first ‘home run’ tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me, because I sure would love to finish on the top rung of the podium again!

Give me your support, please
We’re enjoying a run of success after my two wins on the trot in America and Paris, and we want to continue our winning streak in Berlin. Please vote for me again this time and give me FanBoost, so that I can be among the front-runners in our home race. How does it work? It’s simple. Either cast your vote for me at: fanboost.fiaformulae.com directly or use the hashtags #FanBoost and #LucasDiGrassi on Twitter or Instagram. Thanks for your support!

My team’s home race
The race here in Berlin means something really special to me. After all, we are racing in Germany, in the home country of my team-mate Daniel and our outfit. The new circuit at Alexanderplatz suits the series perfectly. As in Paris, the race is being staged in the heart of the city! Our car is a winner. Our team remains cool and focused under pressure, so we obviously intend to win our home race. I’m really looking forward to this weekend.
