Football unites us all, it reaches far and wide, even to the most remote locations.

But not all football fans in these locations have the same opportunities to play, the opportunity to live out their dreams.

So in partnership with Manchester United, DHL is delivering an important pitch. Literally.
It may just be two goals and some astroturf, but to many, it’s their own Theatre of Dreams.

“Delivering Dreams” is a global, purpose-led campaign that reimagines DHL and Manchester United’s long-standing ‘The World United’ partnership through meaningful, community-first impact.

The campaign leverages DHL’s global logistics expertise and Manchester United’s cultural power to deliver all-weather football pitches to communities that lack access to safe sporting infrastructure, bringing to life DHL’s promise of Connecting People and Improving Lives in a tangible, emotionally resonant way.

The campaign will provide over 1,000 children with access to their very own “Theatre of Dreams”, cutting short the previous 2.5 hour round trip to the closest functional football pitch, as DHL were able to overcome extreme conditions and a four-hour trip from the nearest major city to deliver and build a new pitch.

"It’s amazing to see their love for football and that’s what so incredible about this. That it doesn’t matter if you’re playing at the Theatre of Dreams-Old Trafford or in Chiang Mai, football is for everyone."

Patrice Evra, former Manchester United captain

“At DHL Express, we are always looking for opportunities to deliver on our mission to connect people and improve lives. It is a proud moment to work with our long-term partners at Manchester United to provide the people of Mae Suek, Thailand, with access to a professional grade football pitch. To hear the community’s love for the game and how playing sport will benefit the region for generations to come was very rewarding.”
